The popularity of pet names changes every year; sometimes names are only popular for a year and other times certain names stay within Britain’s top ten for years to come. The reasons behind the change in popularity are never consistent; sometimes it’s for no reason at all and other times its due to what’s on at the cinema and how hooked we get on a certain character.
